Many people today have been forced into a bankruptcy situation because of overwhelming medical bills. There are stories all over the airways, in the papers and in books about very tragic stories about people not being able to pay their bills because of medical conditions that insurance could not or would not cover. Some people just never had insurance. Forty million people in this nation, when last I heard, were not covered for medical insurance of any kind. And from many others who are covered, their coverage barely covers a band aid. Doctors are making out like bandits throughout all of the problems with the medical system although listening to doctors and their wives you would believe that they were suffering and getting the short end of the stick. Meanwhile, while doctors are guaranteed payment, patients and people in dire need of medical services are not guaranteed those services. It is hard to believe that in the United States, the richest country in the world, that national health care is not available. That people are forced to think about bankruptcy because of not being able to pay for their medical conditions is a crime. Questions and answers for these people are readily available on the internet.
