In the telemarketing industry, we have to track a lot of leads. Starting the company from the ground up, we initially had only a few clients. As our company and number of clients grew we had to find quicker and more efficient ways to keep track of them all.
We started out using Excel files to track our leads. While it worked for a short time, it became such a hassle to have to swap Excel files to make sure everyone was up to date on the latest information about each customer. In addition, it was cumbersome trying to organize the spreadsheets in a way that made sense.
To help us stay organized as our company grew, we started looking into CRM software solutions. We looked at several, including GoldMine, before deciding to try out Sage ACT.
Sage ACT, though powerful, was just too complex for me to use on a daily basis as a CRM. As with any business, ours depends on our ability to attract and follow through with leads. With Sage ACT, it was far too difficult to find a particular lead. Sure, it was there somewhere, but if you didn’t know specifically where it was hard to track down and search for. We simply didn’t have time to work against our Customer Relation Management software. We knew it was in our best interest to keep looking for a better solution.
After using Sage ACT for a short time, we decided to keep looking for a CRM that would suit our needs. I spoke with a friend who told me about Blitz Lead Manager. He insisted that I give it a try, and at least check out their online demo.
Impressed by the demo we decide to give Blitz Lead Manager a shot. It is incredible how intuitive this application is! A few of the features include:
- Built-in scheduler allows for easy planning, tracking, and sharing of meetings with leads.
- Direct emailing to leads from the system and the ability to store email templates means quick and efficient communication.
- The online system allows for 24/7 access to your leads no matter where you are. You just need an internet connection.
- Advanced reporting system makes analysis of leads and employee performance effortless.
Blitz Lead Manager is a web-based CRM meaning we can access our lead information from any computer connected to the internet. This also means I can even use it on the road with my broadband card and MacBook. Setup was a simple task, requiring us to simply upload a spreadsheet of our leads. We were then able to set up campaigns and create custom fields. We had no software to install and all updates occur overnight, requiring us to do nothing. All of our data is backed up every day automatically, and because it is stored online, everyone has the latest and most up-to-date information available on a lead.
Blitz Lead Manager has so many tools it’s hard to discuss them all. The scheduler is a great feature, allowing you to add events to your, and your associates, schedules, even emailing you a reminder when desired. Blitz Lead Manager also keeps you on top of hot leads and, more importantly, neglected leads. It keeps track of progress made with each lead, and updates are made instantly for every user on the system. From within the system you can create email templates for mass mailings, as well as send emails with attachments.
Blitz Lead Manager has many simple tools for finding your leads, making it so easy to use. It has filter options that allow you to sort and search through all of the leads in the system, including a quick search feature. There are different levels for specific requirements, however, and we went with the Professional Edition for our company.
