The largest error that others make when beginning an online business is that they desire to learn everything all at once. Why is it that they want to know everything before they start something online? Back when I first started we had no seminars. We just took the bull by the horn and put up a website. I even had an html helper.
Viewing the source was the way I learned html code from the Yanik Silver blog. My notepad had me inspecting it to see how it worked. I’d modify a small number of things and got the html coding up in my head as I went along. Make changes as you go. There is an endless supply of how to ebooks, but not that many people put things into working action. Absorb it and put things into working action.
You don’t make money just reading the how to ebook; the money comes from the application. So study the material and make the application right away, otherwise you won’t go anywhere. Most people get bogged down with emails and ebooks and they never go anywhere because they are not using the knowledge that they are learning.
Take a piece of paper and write things down as a goal. Learn stuff piece by piece then put in to action. You’re not going to get things done perfectly the first time either.
Sometimes you can leave your mistakes up to remind you of where you came from. I did this with one of my blog postings. It’s really funny to see. When you start your online business, you’re always going to have things to do. Don’t anticipate getting all things perfect the first time you have a shot at it. Go out and buy a domain name, put up a blog and get the ball rolling with something you’d like to do.
Those are mistakes I see people make all the time. We know about them but we just keep doing them anyway. When you crave to learn something, go out and get exciting about putting something up that is constructive.

Go out and find a coach. This way you can be answerable to someone. It doesn’t matter what walk of life that they are from, just so that they get it with what you are doing. It’s not that hard to find someone that is on your level. It’s great to share ideas and feedback from someone. I worked solo for a long time before I found some people that I could talk to about my work.
If you don’t have someone that you’re accountable to, you’ll go nuts and second guess yourself. I got more things done connecting with someone. Those are just a few things I think are important when starting your online business.
